The death of Pat Rohan Carrigaha, Camp occurred on Monday last.  Pat was one of the old stock, a real gentleman and a highly respected member of the farming community.  He was a very knowledgeable local historian with a keen interest in genealogy and in tracing relations.  Pat was predeceased by his son Patrick.   He is survived by  his wife Nora, daughters Mary and Catherine, sons, James, John, Pascal and Mike,  grand children and extended family, relatives and friends.  Sympathy is extended to all.

Pat was waked at home on Tuesday evening and on Wednesday following requiem mass at St. Marys Church, Castlegregory, he was laid to rest in Killiney Cemetary.  Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam.

A large group of walkers took part in the Annual Camp CF Walk on Whit Monday in beautiful sunny weather. Lovely home baking, teas and refreshments were served at the Old School and over E850 was raised with more contributions expected to come in.  The organisers wish to thank all who took part and all who supported the event in any way.
