DANCING SUCCESS
Congratulations to Ciara O Sullivan, Camp who won the U/15 Girls, Munster Irish Dancing Champion for the tenth year in succession in Ennis recently. Grand Daughter of the great local musician, Jack Doyle, Ciara adds this record breaking achievement to her many other National and International accolades in Irish dancing achieved since she was 5 years of age. Ciara who performs with the Sheehan/Murphy school of dancing in Killarney participated in the INEC, Gleneagle “Celtic Step” stage performance last summer and will be performing in the show again in 2013. Well done Ciara. You have done us all proud !
OBITUARY
The death occurred last week of Mary Gaynor (nee Crean) Oysterhall, The Spa, Tralee and formerly of Knockgloss Beg, Camp. Mary was predeceased by her husband Edward and is survived by sons Michael, Eamon, Pádraig and Morgan, daughter Marie, brothers Tom and Pat, sisters Sr. Catherine and Sr. Theresa Ann, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends to whoom sympathy is extended.

CHRISTMAS SHOP
Christmas shop is now open at O’ Dwyers Retail Centre, Camp. Opening hours – Monday to Friday, 1.15pm ‘til late and weekends 10am ‘til late. 5 ft to 10 ft Noble fir and Nordmann fir trees available, taller trees supplied on request. Trees will be delivered or trees will be netted for easy transportation. Door, grave and holly wreaths as well as table centre pieces, all handmade are available. Call for more details on 0868973406.

Camp Christmas Cards are also on sale locally. The card is a beautiful Artistic creation of a snowy photograph of St. Marys Church taken on Christmas morning 2010. Work by local artist Christy Deane. Cost: 5 euro for pack of 6 cards with envelopes. Any profits to Camp Tidy Towns.
CHARITY WALK
At a special event in Hannifins Bar, Annascaul on Friday night, John Hannifin announced that E24,000 was raised in the Dingle Way Cancer Charity Walk last September. He thanked all who took part and supported the event in any way. Noel Spillane Chairman, Annascaul Walks presented cheques for E6,000 to 4 charities, Kerry Cancer link Bus, Cancer Ward Cork University Hospital, Friends of Leukaemia and Childrens Leukaemia. It is planned to make this fundraiser an annual event.
The Table Quiz organised by Sean Barry and Mike O Neill at The Railway Tavern, Camp on Friday night raised E460 towards the Kerry Cancer Link Bus. This fund to be added to the Dingle Way Cancer Charity Walk fund. Thanks to everybody for their support.
KEEL CHILDCARE CENTRE
Jingle Run – A 5-10 k fun run/walk in aid of Keel Childcare Centre takes place on Saturday 8th December. Registration from 10am from Keel GAA Grounds, Keel, Castlemaine. Race begins at 12pm. Trophies, certificates for completion, medals and lots of fun for all the family. Face Painting. Prize for the best festive outfit. Price: 5k =€8 and 10k =€15. Refreshments after the race.
