OBITUARY
The death of Brendan Deane, Beheenagh, Camp occurred on Friday 16th November. Fr. John Buckley PP in his homily at Bendan’s requiem Mass at St. Marys Church, Camp on Tuesday said it all, Brendan was a real family man, happy with his wife Maureen and his family in his home in Beheenagh, he wanted for little more in life ! Brendan loved the land and took great pride in his farm and his animals, he cultivated and developed the land throughout his long life and like those who came before him handed those skills and traditions down to his family, to another generation. He was highly regarded in the farming community for rearing quality sheep and he won many awards and prizes for his quality sheep and rams in events all over the county and beyond. A huge congregation attended the removal from Hogans Funeral Home, Tralee on Sunday evening and again joined Brendan’s family on Monday at St. Marys Church, Camp and Ballinknockane Cemetary, where he was laid to rest. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a anam Dilís. Brendan is survived by his wife Maureen, daughters Helen and Mary, sons, Pádraig, Thomas, John and Breandán, brother Eugie and Patrick, Grandchildren and extended family, relatives and many friends and neighbours. Sympathy is extended to all.
The death also occurred of Bridie Griffin (nee Kennedy), Deerpark, Lispole on Friday, 16th November last. Bridie’s late husband was Dan Griffin R.I.P. native of Camp. Bridie and her family kept the link with Camp going over the years, visiting cousin Pauline and extended family in Camp and Aughacasla. Go ndéana Dia trocaire ar a h-anam dilís. Sympathy is extended to all.

COMMUNITY ALERT
Camp Community Council are holding a Community Alert Meeting at 12.30 p.m. in Camp Old School on next Sunday, December 2nd. Local Gardaí will attend. Everybody is welcome to this important meeting.
CEREMONY OF REMEMBRANCE
